FAQ

Common questions

Where do the headlines come from?
Dozens of crypto RSS feeds and publisher sources, pulled in continuously and normalized to one shape: title, source, link, publish time, tagged currencies. There is no editorial layer on top. You get the feed as published.
How quickly does an article show up in the API?
Usually a few minutes after the source publishes it. Most of that delay is the source's own feed refresh rather than our ingestion. If you need faster than that, news APIs in general are the wrong tool and exchange announcement feeds are the right one.
Can I filter news by coin?
Yes. Articles carry the currencies they mention, so you can pull only headlines touching BTC, or only the ones for some long tail token you track. Tagging is automated, so treat it as a strong signal rather than a perfect one.
Do you provide sentiment scores?
No, and that is deliberate. You get the raw headline, the source and the timestamp. Sentiment models age badly and everybody wants theirs tuned differently, so we would rather hand you clean text and let you run your own classifier over it.
Can I republish the full article text?
No. The API returns the headline, the source and a link back to the original. The article body belongs to the publisher. Showing headlines and linking out is normal practice, mirroring the whole piece is between you and them.
